Mobile health services giant DocGo Inc. has inked a deal with Mississippi's largest integrated hospital system, Cardiac RMS to extend their remote cardiac monitoring services. Thus, the contract would permit nearly 3000 patients outfitted with cardiac implantable electronic devices to monitor their health in early 2025 by Cardiac RMS.

Cardiac Monitoring

Cardiac RMS and Mississippi are working together to develop solutions meant to bridge the state's healthcare gaps, such as the prevalence of cardiovascular disease and lack of access to specialized care. The partnership seeks to reduce the need for too many visits to clinics for early intervention so that complications are prevented and hospitalizations are reduced.

DocGo's CEO Lee Bienstock described the benefit of this partnership saying "Given that provider manages continuous oversight of cardiac device patients, any complications can be avoided, the number of hospitalizations reduced, and operational efficiencies enhanced." Modern, proactive, value-based health strategies depend upon remote patient monitoring.

Technological Advancements and Patient-Centered Care

Cardiac RMS will provide continuous oversight of patients with various CIEDs, including:

Pacemakers

Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)

Implantable heart failure devices

Implantable loop recorders

Cardiac RMS boasts the latest technology for enhancing patient experiences and outcomes in care. It comprises the following two new offerings: virtual managing care and RPM (remote physiologic monitoring). The innovation applies to managing patients with chronic diseases. Remote monitoring gives early warning to healthcare providers, helping in avoiding complications and reducing hospital stays. This type of adaptable remote care solution provides for high-quality, proactive care by providers.

Significance for Pediatric Patients

The contract particularly promotes the benefit of extending remote cardiac monitoring services to patients less than 18 years of age. Thus, Cardiac RMS would be an apt provider for versatile care across all ages because it will cover children as well as adults under continuous surveillance and immediate diagnosis.

DocGo’s Commitment to Proactive Healthcare

DocGo, the revolutionizing healthcare, has combined mobile health, telehealth, and ambulance services. It allows accessing care in their place. It has taken healthcare one step further by providing mobile health, treating patients right in their homes or workplaces, and ensuring an uninterrupted transition in levels of care through Ambulnz medical transport services.

DocGo has signed a contract in Mississippi to Increase Cardiac RMS services directed toward patient-centered care. The initiative focuses on some of the most commonly underserved healthcare needs, improving patient outcomes, and decreasing friction on the traditional system. This partnership represents a significant transition toward value-based care, one that prioritizes accessibility, early intervention, and operational efficiency. Further advances in technology and a growing presence in remote healthcare make DocGo an increasingly promising partner in the delivery of cardiac care.
