Sormac B.V., a worldwide leader in fresh produce processing technology, has recently inaugurated four innovative innovations at Fruit Logistica 2025. The company brought all of its innovations, including the fully automated PepperCorer PCR and the DC-145 Cube cutter, to Luigi C-40 in hall 1.1. Other features include two futuristic imaging solutions, OptiView, and OptiPro. This series of innovations improves efficiency, enhances quality, and greatly simplifies processing in fresh produce facilities. Sormac proved as well, important upgrades to the reliable machinery that it has been producing, thus reaffirming its commitment to continuous improvement in processing vegetables.
The most interesting innovation is the PepperCorer Robotic PCR, an advanced, fully automated system devoted entirely to revolutionizing pepper processing. Using robotic technology, the machine separates the peppers, visually identifies their locations, and picks them up utilizing a highly developed robotic arm, with the ability to output as many as 2,500 pieces per hour. PepperCorer PCR enjoys all the benefits arising from less labor costs with very high-quality processing, consistent results, and much-improved hygiene standards.
Introduced by Sormac, the DC-145 cube cutter incorporates a cutting-edge way of vegetable cutting-the three-dimensional form. High processing capacitance with a drum diameter of 400 mm does not lose precision in operation. The HMI, or touchscreen Human-Machine Interface, facilitates digital thickness adjustment without the need for mechanical adjustments. This cube cutter reaches a maximum output of 6,000 kg per hour, ensuring faster processing while keeping the quality of the products intact.
Furthermore, Sormac is also introducing two products, OptiView and OptiPro, which are next-generation imaging solutions that will further enhance process monitoring, quality control, and automation in fruit and vegetable processing plants. OptiView is a state-of-the-art hygiene camera system that allows for real-time monitoring and video recording of critical processing points and therefore provides important data for production processes. OptiPro is a next-generation automation system for processing equipment that guarantees that the processed products meet the defined specifications and further improves process control, production, and waste. Both innovations enable better decision-making, reduced downtimes, and faster troubleshooting for the fresh produce processors.
Sormac will be presenting its enhanced multifarious versions of Fo-c 540 Vertical Vegetable Centrifuge and FS-3600 MultiSystem Punching Machine in the event, Fruit Logsistica 2025. The improvements are moisture removal performances which are more efficient than before in vegetables, while ensuring most freshness in those vegetables during storage periods, thus increasing shelf life. The FS-3600 MultiSystem Punching Machine was developed more accurately and durably, therefore offering better performance in terms of vegetable slicing and the shaping process.
This event proves to be an opportunity for Sormac since it supports modern innovation and collaboration within the industry. So, the Dutch company entices fruit and vegetable processors to visit its booth at booth C-40 in hall 1.1 to view its most recent innovations live and connect with its experts in the field.
Sormac will lead a fresh processing company in providing innovations like the PepperCorer PCR, DC-145 cube cutter, OptiView, and OptiPro, which bring revolution in efficiency and hygiene as well as automation. The total dedication of this company to quality, efficiency, and evolution through technology sets the future for fresh produce processing. In most of the pages, Fruit Logistica 2025 continues to be a world tour for innovations; so, it is with Sormac's entering new advancements as proof of market leadership in the processing technology for vegetables.
