Airtel Business and Fortis Healthcare have partnered to launch a Smart Clinics solution over Airtel's 5G network to improve telemedicine access both in urban and rural areas. The Smart Clinics project aims to revolutionize telemedicine by providing real-time consultations, connected medical devices, and secure management of health data. The concept of real-time consultation and connected medical devices can handle health-related data.
Some of the key features are Smart Clinic are: real-time consultation; connected point-of-care diagnostic devices; and live health-tracking capabilities. Such technologies would neither allow patients to go to hospitals often nor disconnect them when a timely diagnosis occurs with proper monitoring of patients through wearable health monitoring devices linked to the 5G network. In addition, records of the patients will be digitized and securely stored, protecting their data and making it easy to access for health professionals. The purpose of this collaboration is to contribute to filling the gap in healthcare access and revolutionizing access to healthcare.
The Airtel Center marked the launch of the Smart Clinics initiative aimed at innovating patient care by delivering accessible, quality medical services in India. The project is bringing in 5G technology for ultra-fast data transmission with low latency and high connectivity for devices. 5 G-supported consultations will allow HD-quality communication and assessment of patients by doctors. Medical data, like high-resolution diagnostic images, will be transmitted much quicker, which leads to faster decisions. With the progression of 5G adoption, robotic-assisted surgeries, and AI-driven diagnosis will flourish to strengthen the effectiveness of treatments. Real-time alerts can be generated via 5 G-connected wearable devices to emergency medical teams, thereby enhancing overall response time.
The majority of the population in India suffers from severe healthcare accessibility issues, especially in thee far-off remote areas where medical facilities are scant. The main point of the Smart Clinics initiative, according to its proponents and main figures, is to bring world-class healthcare to people who are cut off from such benefits. Travel time is saved when medical consultation is done through modern means and increases the doctor-patient ratios as well as lowers healthcare costs since the physical infrastructure and travel costs are reduced. It's a part of Airtel Business's digital healthcare plan that's currently invested in cloud services, security, and Internet of Things. Bharti Airtel's Vice-Chairman and MD said that moving forward, the company will increase its investments in digital services.
Airtel Business in collaboration with Fortis Healthcare has introduced Smart Clinics in India, where 5G technology enhances accessibility to health care. Real-time consultations, connected medical devices, live health tracking and secured digital record maintenance characterize the clinics. They further plan to expand on a national scale, bringing AI, predictive analytics, and robotics into the arena for remote surgeries. Meanwhile, EONMED,a health technology company, launched its latest offerings at an exhibit at the India Habitat Center in New Delhi attended by dignitaries like His Excellency Ashish Saraf and Dr. VS Chauhan, whose core aim is to improve doctor-patient interactions and healthcare accessibility. These two initiatives highlight the growing digital health space in India and demonstrate how 5G, AI, and IoT can act as force multipliers in bridging the gaps in medical access and innovation. With an international presence in Smart Clinics and a strong winding-up for EONMED technology, India will be crowned as the king in telemedicine and digital healthcare solutions.
