Cisco and NVIDIA have joined hands to revolutionize Artificial Intelligence adoption in enterprise data centers. The partnership shall merge Cisco's Silicon One and NVIDIA's Spectrum-X Ethernet networking with solutions that deliver a high-performance, low-latency, and energy-efficient networking solution tuned for AI workloads. This collaboration intends to respond to the challenges of technical complexity, security, and scalability encountered in the life of an enterprise. Cisco Silicon One combined with NVIDIA SuperNICs will form an integral part of the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform to offer an exclusive AI networking solution. The partnership shall bring interoperability between Cisco networking infrastructure and NVIDIA AI technology, giving the enterprise more flexibility and choices. Cisco will build new networking systems that integrate NVIDIA Spectrum silicon with its own operating systems software to ensure a smooth integration of Cisco and NVIDIA technologies in the data center.
Cisco and NVIDIA have made a coalition to bring AI networking into the industry, enabling all enterprises to use the AI infrastructure investment optimally. According to the combined architecture model, the network has front-end and back-end connectivity, which means an increase in the efficient and safe use of data centers and cloud operations.
