Josep-Maria Recasens and Clea Martinet introduced Renault’s sustainable efforts at the ChangeNow Summit in Paris. Further, the company proudly discussed the software and electric transformation and its initiative in contributing to employee training through ReKnow University. The initiative will help deal with raw material volatility and China’s dominant performance in battery ore refining. The Renault Group is focusing on electrifying and cutting down emissions. The transformational shift from combustion engines to electric models, the company focuses on increasing CO2e emissions by about 50% in Europe.
The initiative aligns with the goals, encouraging effective and efficient mobility and contributing to the environment. To develop decarbonization to compete and improve performance, Renault Group’s Renaulution launched a plan in late 2021. The strategy was the integration of sustainability at the business level. The strategy will result in to 40% decline in Renault’s CO2e emissions and a 50% reduction in industrial emissions in comparison to 2019. The Company is committed to maintaining its sustainable appearance with electric vehicles, introducing an electric ecosystem in Europe. The new initiative will help to adopt electric vehicles globally. It will control and majorly reduce carbon footprints.
Renault's emblem resembles the vision to develop a low-carbon fleet of vehicles by 2035. Been Europe’s first industrial site empowering mobility’s circular economy aiming remanufacturing activities, repair and reuse the country will progress and broaden the strategic and recycling materials in new models.
Renault Group is focusing on balancing and succeeding in neutral carbon by 2040. Currently, the company is accelerating with four brands named Alpine, Dacia, Mobilize, and Renault, promoting its sustainable solutions. In 2024, Renault progressed by selling two million vehicles across 114 countries. New technology and services will continue to be consistent and grow.
The electrifying vehicle range and competition will help the environment defeat challenges. Renault's closed-loop system, such as Refactory and The Future is Neutral project, has closely observed resource scarcity issues. The efforts helped introduce low-cost, effective electric vehicles with their production locally in France, achieving sustainable goals.
