Wipro Limited, a global IT services company, on Wednesday announced the introduction of the new Agentic Artifical Intelligence services to facilitate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities by nations while also achieving sovereignty in the use of data. The new service powered by Wipro's WeGA Studio and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software aims to promote economic growth, digital transformation, and innovation while leveraging local infrastructure, workforce, and business networks. According to the company, these services would empower public sector organizations in different verticals including banking and financial services, emergency response, health care, and education with AI-enabled solutions that suit local needs. This initiative from Wipro is a part of the greater plan to support governments in transforming digitally while improving citizen experiences through AI-enabled solutions.
Wipro has launched Agentic AI services, a machine-learning ecosystem that aims to improve public service delivery while maintaining the integrity of data privacy, security, and compliance. NVIDIA NeMo microservices and NVIDIA Blueprints provide a practical framework for governmental departments and enterprises to build, optimize, and deploy AI solutions in a sovereign environment for artificial intelligence. Wipro also provides tailored large-language models for regional languages such as Thai, Indian, South Asian, and Arabic. The company, in addition, has prescriptive built-in "responsible" AI accelerators that will allow compliance with privacy and security regulations. The services aim to ignite innovation, establish local business networks, and drive economic growth.
Wipro enters the AI arena in conjunction with NVIDIA, comprising highly effective feature AI services capabilities, like NVIDIA NeMo Microservices for fine-tuning large language models specifically for sovereign AI environments; NVIDIA Customizer to customize AI models for governments and enterprises; NeMo Curator for creating high-quality synthetic data for training AI models; NeMo Evaluator to evaluate AI model performance; and NeMo Retriever to improve information retrieval while preserving data security. All these technologies ensure AI sovereignty, giving governments sovereignty over AI models, infrastructure, and data governance policy.
