RTOERO has partnered with the PGA of Canada to improve the health coverage provisions of its members. Over 4,000 PGA of Canada professionals will have access to the Entente Group Insurance Program of RTOERO beginning on February 1, 2025: this is the first time RTOERO is adding health insurance beyond the traditional educational sector. The program features extensive travel coverage- invaluable to golf professionals who spend so much time traveling to competitions, training, and gun events. John Cappelletti, Chair of RTOERO said it requires health security for professionals in all segments to feel valued and included because health insurance is still the primary safety net.

Now, PGA of Canada professionals can access the best healthcare coverage, even without RTOERO membership, as long as they are active members. The PGA President Scott Kolb welcomed the partnership, saying it would create peace of mind and, more practically, tangible visibility. So that professionals can focus on their careers while knowing they have coverage, PGA Members can tailor their insurance to their needs by integrating them with RTOERO's group insurance plans that have added benefits to the health and extended healthcare, dental, and travel insurance plans. This move is probably one step in bringing improved accessibility to healthcare services and increased financial security in the hands of PGA professionals and their families.
